I teach the following disciplines:
Cello - beginner to advanced (post-Grade 8)
Piano - beginner to intermediate (Grade 6)
Music Theory and Practical Musicianship - elementary to advanced (college level)
I teach from my home in Leeds. I have a Yamaha Arius digital piano and professional recording equipment for students wishing to record for auditions or competition entries.
I also offer cello and theory lessons via Skype or Google Talk. This service is available for cello students at an intermediate to advanced level. By intermediate I mean a confident command of the first four positions, basic vibrato, and all basic bow techniques - legato, staccato, tenuto, slurring up to six notes per bow, detaché and controlled spiccato. These fundamental techniques are best taught in a face-to-face lesson environment.
